Mixed Roofing System Installation

This project involved the installation of a multi-system roofing assembly designed to accommodate the building’s varied roof slopes and architectural elements. The primary steep-slope areas were constructed using laminated asphalt composition shingles installed over felt underlayment, incorporating a closed valley system to provide additional protection and durability at roof intersections.

Low-slope sections of the structure were protected with a mechanically attached single-ply thermoplastic membrane, delivering reliable waterproofing performance and long-term resistance to environmental exposure.

Select roof areas were finished with standing seam metal roof panels installed over high-temperature Ice & Water Shield underlayment, providing enhanced durability and protection in areas exposed to higher thermal loads and weather conditions.

Water management across the structure is handled through a continuous aluminum gutter system, ensuring efficient drainage and directing runoff safely away from the building envelope.

This project demonstrates the effective integration of multiple roofing systems within a single structure, delivering a balanced solution that addresses performance, durability, and architectural requirements.
